We're seeking a Junior Web Developer to support our digital initiatives, working closely with the Marketing department on lead generation sites and Marketing related web collateral. This role involves contributing to existing programs and helping to develop new initiatives aligned with our goals. The ideal candidate has some experience in digital marketing, writing efficient code using best practices, creating website layouts/user interfaces with frontend languages, and integrating data from various back-end services and databases. The candidate should communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and be a team player.The candidate listens to others and accepts input from team members, clearly articulates ideas and thoughts verbally, and prepares coherent, grammatically correct, effective, and professional written business correspondence.The Junior Web Developer has a passion for superior performance, a commitment to exceed customer expectations, and a focus on developing and executing innovative, appropriate solutions to evolving client needs.Essential Responsibilities:
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best software development practicesCreate website layouts and user interfaces using standard HTML, SCSS/CSS and JavaScript practicesIntegrate data from various back-end services and databasesGather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needsCreate and maintain software documentationMaintain, expand, and scale Decisely and client sitesStay updated on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operationsCollaborate with web developers and Marketing to match brand intent and maintain brand integrity
Measures:
Contribute to marketing production efficiencyInternal customer satisfaction (Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Leadership)Additional measures to be determined upon integration into the Decisely platform
Qualifications:
Proven experience in web programmingGood grasp of front-end languages, HTML, SCSS/CSS, and JavaScriptFamiliar with PHP or another server-side languageFamiliar with CMS platforms – preferably WordPressUnderstanding of web applications, including security and session managementKnowledge of relational database systems, OOP is desired, but not requiredFamiliar with Git and repository managementFamiliar with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and IllustratorFamiliar with web prototyping tools – preferably FigmaStrong problem-solving skills and creativityStrong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within timelinesBachelor’s degree or experience in business or a related fieldAbility to work independently and communicate efficientlyStrong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding and use of analytics
