Job Summary The Enterprise Communications Consultant will develop and execute integrated and strategic communications plans and initiatives as well as supporting tactics through integration with the enterprise, its business units and/or functional areas. Provide strategic communications consultation, direction, support and influence for complex initiatives and critical work of business partners and stakeholders regarding communications plans, programs and projects that have a reputational or business impact. Distribute communications to targeted audiences and measure the effectiveness of integrated communications efforts. When appropriate, collaborate with and manage projects involving Shared Services on deliverables including content development, supporting graphics and other creative content, and media relations. Anticipate when there is a need to integrate across other work streams within Enterprise Communications. What You Will Be Doing: Communications plan development Work as key partner to business and communications leaders, providing thoughtful counsel on communication matters as well as strategic and business-critical issues with high organizational impact. In collaboration with the Sr. Director, Business Communications, and Sr Enterprise Business Communication Manager, develop strategic communications plans designed to drive business results, inform and engage multiple audiences including internal audiences, media, group employers, members, sales channels, providers, community leaders and influencers, and the community. Serve as account manager and communications liaison for key business partners (Commercial Markets, Medicare, GuideWell Health, Diversified Businesses), becoming a trusted, go-to resource for communications counsel and support for the business team and a key partner for the Enterprise Brand & Marketing Teams.Lead and manage multiple communications projects, collaborating with colleagues across Enterprise Communications and other enabling functions as appropriate to ensure integrated, comprehensive planning and execution.Execution

Collaborate with Shared Services, and outside resources as appropriate, to drive creative solutions and on-time, on-budget executions. Apply new and innovative approaches to solving communications challenges, using measurement as a guide to success. Write, review and edit communications materials on a wide range of topics covering various corporate initiatives, including but not limited to press releases, digital and social content, letters and emails, brochures or fliers, scripts, talking points, briefing packets, presentations, intranet articles, etc. Ensure communications are executed to a standard of excellence and are accurate, engaging, properly positioned, easy to understand, on brand, and consistent with other related communications. Measurement Monitor and assess effectiveness of communications strategies and tactics. The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.

What You Must Have: 6+ years related work experience. Related Bachelor's degree required (Bus Comms) Communications, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Liberal Arts, Journalism or related field (Rep Mgt) Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Liberal Arts or related field Broad understanding of the health insurance business Experience serving as a communications specialist to leaders, business partners and external stakeholders and with developing and implementing communications strategies and tactics Expert in communications and knowledgeable about emerging trends and industry practices Ability to work without supervision with latitude for independent judgment in a complex environment Expertise in internal, external, stakeholder and/or media communications. Ability to conceive, distill and synthesize complex ideas and concepts into distinctive messaging platforms. Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills, including the ability to tailor writing for voice, audience and communication channel. Strong project management skills with the ability to execute programs with speed, accuracy and efficiency Demonstrated fluency in Associated Press (AP) style Intellectual curiosity, demonstrated initiative, strong orientation to delivering results, attentive to detail Professional presence, a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, and the ability to build relationships at all levels in a highly matrixed environment What We Would Prefer You Have: Strong business acumen Sophisticated design sensibility

We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases.Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $104,600 - $108,500 Annualized Salary Range: $104,600 - $169,900Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
