We are an established designer, manufacturer and distributor of women's apparel looking for a motivated and talented designer to join our team. Job ResponsibilitiesProvide reliable and responsible support to the Sr. Knit DesignerIdentify new trends, innovations, opportunities, and assist in the creation of seasonal design concepts to final product Shop local markets for inspirationMust be able to create detailed flat sketches and tech packsSource new fabrics for each seasonCommunicate with the factories in getting all samples, fabrics, trims on a timely basisAssist in preparing showroom for presentation to buyersCreate presentation decks for virtual meetingsAbility to create CADs and make alterations quickly as neededParticipate in fit sessionsExcellent eye for specs, proportion, fit, and constructionExperience in issuing production comments for lab dips and strike offsDay to day upkeep of filing and organizationSome woven experience is a plusSkills and QualificationsBachelors Degree in Fashion DesignAt least 5+ years of design experience in Women's Cut & Sew Casual Knits including AthleisureMust have advanced skills in Photoshop and IllustratorProficiency with Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environmentMust be a team player as well as able to work independentlyHighly organized and detail-orientedPositive and professional attitudeSalary$90,000 Benefits include fully employer paid health insurance, 401K Profit Sharing Plan, paid time offScheduleMonday-Friday 9AM-6PM in office
