Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled by either expediting or de-expediting the delivery date of end assembly parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Contact suppliers via open order report to expedite or de-expedite orders based on customer requirements.Enter open order report results from suppliers in the ERP system in a timely manner.Enter ASN shipment status in the ERP system in a timely manner for reference by internal customers.Maintain appropriate expediting documentation and emails.Communicate/escalate issues to appropriate Purchasing Agent or Manager.Other job activities as assigned.Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
High School Diploma requiredStrong organizational skills with an effective follow-up systemStrong written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Word (basic) and Excel (intermediate) with efficient and accurate typing abilityExperience with an MRP system is preferredAbility to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Equipment Used:
Computer, telephone, and other office equipmentPersonal Protective Equipment/Clothing Required (PPE):
Safety glasses and hearing protection as required.ESD smock and grounding equipment as required.Physical Demands:
