The Athletics Video and Creative Production Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Strategy and Social Media and assisting in the development of game-day promotions, social media and marketing. Assists in the development of the department's digital and social media efforts as it relates to graphic design, photography and videography to tell the story ofUTDAthletics while meeting brand standards, primarily focusing on the video needs of the department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital and social media strategy with a key focus on elevating fan engagement, growing our social media communities and enhancing the UTD Athletics brand Support the management of graphic design needs for UTD Athletics and individual sports teams for website, social media, in-venue and other digital platforms Occasional travel with UTD Athletics programs to provide further coverage Maintain best practices to ensure content strategy is in line with audience trends Occasional travel with UTD Athletics programs to provide further coverage. Must maintain best practices to ensure content strategy is in line with audience trends. Employee agrees to abide by the Code of Ethics as set forth by the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas System; Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems; Complies with all State and University policies; other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics and Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs.Minimum: Bachelor's degree - Sports Management or Sports Marketing; 0 to 6 months experience with in-game manager for fan engagement; social media coordinator; and sports marketing. Preferred: 3-5 years experience in creative services, preference for experience creating content for a sports team or organization; knowledge and commitment to NCAA Division II rules.
