What you will be doing!As a Web Developer, you are responsible for designing, creating, testing, and maintaining websites and content that enrich and optimize the exchange of information and produce effective communications with customers.
You will interact with the team to gather and define requirements, analyze them to determine the most effective web technologies, and coordinate the creation and integration of necessary technology components. Your work will follow a formal design process that includes adhering to laws, standards, and established guidelines for developing and delivering the website end product. You will design and create visually pleasing, content-rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation. But your role doesn't end there. You are also responsible for delivering comprehensive website solutions that not only meet but exceed customer requirements. Your role also includes maintaining configuration management, a task that is essential to our operations.
Job Requirements:Maintain a functioning, user-accessible websiteCodes less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languagesSupport website planning and deploymentWrite documentation regarding the website’s technical requirementsMaintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgradesApply concepts, develop, test, maintain, and support high-performance, innovative web-based applicationsResponsible for troubleshooting software problems and providing solutions to overcome those problems using the latest technologiesWork with management and information technologists to determine specificationsUse a variety of internet technologies, techniques, and tools, such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applicationsIn concert with the software development lead, develop, test, maintain, and support high-performance, innovative web-based applicationsAnalyze and troubleshoot complex software problems and provide solutions using the latest technologiesWork independently on more complex projectsIntegrate new web products with existing web applications to improve the functionality or design of the organization’s websiteEducation and Experience:Eight (8) years' experience as a WD in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional WD experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Clearance Required :
Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role.
