Phillips Edison's operating platform provides retail services including acquisition, redevelopment, leasing and management of grocery-anchored retail centers.What you'll do:

The Marketing Intern will work directly with the Senior Marketing & Graphic Design Specialist and other Marketing & Communications team members. You will be a contributing member of a small, powerful team that serves as the company's in-house creative agency and gain exposure to the exciting world of commercial real estate.Assist in identifying, planning, and implementing new communications, marketing, and promotional campaign strategiesCreate and curate content for the company's social media sitesConduct data analysis for social media performance and email campaign performanceWork on digital media and web projects including but not limited to SEO, Facebook Marketing, and Google ads that support the sales team's efforts to sign new tenantsAdditional duties as assignedWhat you'll learn:Throughout the internship term this role provides the student with the following:Executing a marketing strategy that supports the company's brand and the various business unitsHands-on experience working on real solutions that impact that company with direct access to the Associate VP of Content Marketing and the Chief Marketing OfficerLearn or further develop the process of documenting work performed on projects and communicating effectively with supervisors and company personnelFurther develop skills required to interact with other professionals at varying levels of the companyFurther develop time management skills and the ability to be responsible for more than one project at a timeWhat we're looking for:A current undergraduate student who is able to work full-time and in person during the semesterA current university student enrolled in a degree seeking program studying Marketing or another related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0Demonstrated leadership experience and prior marketing internship experience preferredMarketing savvy and creativityProven social media skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently, with direction and guidance, and on a teamExcellent organizational skills with proven ability to balance multiple priorities at once with attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with marketing automation systems like HubSpot highly desirableWhy PECO?
