Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Developer, or similar.

Primary Job Duties and Tasks:• Support and enhance a variety of NLM mission critical applications such as NLM Main Web, MedlinePlus, NLM Manuscripts Clearance, etc.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)• Minimum Five (5) years of experience in developing websites and web applications using modern technologies.• Strong understanding of features and functions of NLM public-facing Web sites/applications such as MedlinePlus, NLM Main Web, NLM Manuscripts Clearance, Native Voices, Exhibit Asset Manager Project, etc.• Demonstrated experience in resolving section 508 compliance problems and accessibility concerns.• Demonstrated experience in section 508 testing including using different tools.• Demonstrated experience in web design and responsive design.• Demonstrated knowledge of application/web security, and experience in using AppScan.• Demonstrated experience in administration of Visual Website Analytics and Heatmaps tool such as Crazy Egg.• Working experience in CSS/SASS, ColdFusion, PL/SQL, XML, and Flash/Flex development.• Demonstrated experience in presentation and customer service.• Demonstrated experience in Flash Adobe Photoshop implementation.• Demonstrated experience in Medical Devices process with understating of their attributes.• Demonstrated experience in W3C XSL to transform XML document using XSLT.• Demonstrated experience in Oracle XML functions and Aggregate functions.• Demonstrated experiences in Talend with Java.• Working experiences in IBM Watson Data Explorer and search engine optimization.• Demonstrated experiences in Python with Django, GIT, Stash & JIRA, HTML5, JavaScript, and JQuery.• bility to troubleshoot and repair software systems, both collaboratively and individually.• Working experience in programming/setting up automation testing using Selenium, and Continuous Integration test for the project.• Domain knowledge and working experience in encyclopedia/drug/supplement updates.• Working experience with browsers such as Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Apple Safari
