Interior Design Intern (Fall Semester)

Love popping your head in high-end furniture stores just to dream?Dream no longer - Join us for a paid internship with real hands-on experience in a creative, high-end interior design firm in New York City.As an intern you’ll be assisting the decorating department with the following:Facilitating sample pulls, tracking their delivery, and ensuring timely returnsOrganizing the sample libraryAdministrative assistance including filingAssisting in the research of interior trends and FF&E optionsPreparing presentationsCreating templatesVendor correspondenceRunning errands as neededThe ideal candidate will possess the following:An eye for detail, someone who only submits their best workAn energetic and innovative self-starter that can be relied on to complete tasks in a timely mannerExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalA major interest in Interior Design and Decorating (currently studying Interior Design or Architecture a plus)Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel)Working knowledge of CAD, Sketch-Up and Photoshop an advantageOur office is a professional, yet friendly environment that wants to help our interns learn the ins and outs of the Interior Design industry.
