As an Interior Design Assistant, you will support our lead designers in various aspects of the design process, from initial concept development to project completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about interior design and looking to grow their career in a collaborative and inspiring environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist lead designers in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle, and budget.Source and select materials, furnishings, and accessories in line with project requirements.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design plans, schedules, and budgets.Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials and furnishings.Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all elements of the project meet the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.Conduct site visits and assist in the implementation of design plans, including furniture placement and styling.Maintain the design library and manage sample inventory.Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.Maintain a contract or agreement with clients to ensure that all parties are in compliance with the project's scope and budget.Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, including lighting sales and building codes.Utilize software such as MS Office, Google Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite products (such as Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, InDesign) to manage project documents and visual materials.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.3+ years of experience in interior design.Strong experience with design software and project management.Strong understanding of design principles and materials, previous experience in interior design is preferred.Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail.Proficiency in communications software such as Google Suite, MS Office, and Slack.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and contractors.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with building codes and regulations.A passion for design and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.Benefits:Competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Opportunities to work on diverse and exciting projects.Employee discounts on design services and products.Health and wellness benefits (if applicable).How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, portfolio, and a brief cover letter outlining their qualifications and design philosophy to this job posting.Application Deadline:There is no application deadline.
