New York City, NYJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to join a luxury residential design team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the luxury residential market, demonstrating a deep understanding of high-end design principles, aesthetics, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects from conception to completion. The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for leading design projects, managing a team, and working closely with clients to create elegant, functional and inspiring spaces.Key Responsibilities:Design Leadership:

Lead and manage luxury residential design projects, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring all design work aligns with client expectations and company standards.Project Management:

Oversee all phases of the design process, including concept development, space planning, design development, material and furniture selection, and final installation.Team Management:

Manage and mentor a team of multi disciplinary designers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Provide guidance and feedback to ensure the team produces high-quality work.Client Relations:

Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively communicating design concepts, project progress, and any changes. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within budget.Software Proficiency:

Utilize Studio Designer, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite to develop design plans and presentations. Ensure all design work is accurately documented and coordinated with other team members, vendors and consultants.Design Standards:

Ensure all design work reflects a deep understanding of current trends and design sensibilities in the USA luxury residential market. Maintain a strong attention to detail and uphold the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.Budget Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all design decisions align with financial goals. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible pricing for materials and furnishings.Compliance:

Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Familiarity with NCIDQ standards is preferred.Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field. (NCIDQ certification preferred but not necessary).Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the luxury residential interior design market. At least 3 years of experience in management, project management, and team management.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Studio Designer, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required.Portfolio:

A strong portfolio that demonstrates a refined knowledge of luxury residential interiors, showcasing aesthetic sensibilities, creativity, and an understanding of the U.S. design market.Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present design concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholders.Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Problem-Solving:
