As a Web Developer Programmer, you will provide web design/development and general application programming service. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to: Building, implementing and maintaining web-based applications according to provided specifications. Providing Intranet / Internet expertise and advocating the use of web-based applications, where the use of this technology provides a tangible benefit to the customer. Assisting Departments and Staff in the web-browser presentation of data. Providing general application coding services for projects as needed.The ideal caregiver is someone who: Has a thorough understanding of Web browsers, design applications, utilities, servers, HTML, and of the Internet and World Wide Web. Has a solid understanding of Macromedia Dreamweaver or Adobe Flash (preferred). Has written and verbal communication skills. When you join Cleveland Clinic, you'll be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare.Responsibilities:Prototypes, develops, and maintains Web Applications for assigned customers following specifications provided.Develops efficient applications that paint quickly and that do not impact server performance.Researches and installs Web server software and Web development software.Participates in team development of divisional standards for the use of Internet technology.Other duties as assigned.Education:Associate's degree in computer science or related field.Bachelor's Degree is preferred.Certifications: None plexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Work Experience: Two years of experience in Web design and development is required.Experience could include both short-term and long-term projects.Experience in developing with HTML, JavaScript, Active Server Pages (ASP), Visual Studio.NET, (ASP.NET, C#.NET), SQL, ADO, ADO.NET. Project management knowledge and experience is a plus.Additionally, graphic design experience with applications such as Fireworks or Adobe Photoshop(Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Perl) is preferred. Object Oriented is preferred.Physical Requirements:Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $25.13Maximum hourly: $38.33The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
