Youll also get to work at a company that cares about your career growth and will help you get the support you need to expand your possibilities.Click HERE to learn more about our Day 1 Benefits, 401k Program, Company Perks, Career Opportunities, Advancement Programs, Scholarships and more!WE LOVE OUR WORK.:Responsible for the management of all property Special Events & Promotions to include slot tournaments, promotions, drawings and VIP events.Provides oversight of communications for promotional efforts for guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.Develops and coordinates all aspects of each special event from conception to implementation and assists in conducting on-site promotions.Prepares prize schedules for events in accordance with the event budget.Coordinates ordering of all gifts, dcor, prizes and collateral material needed for events.Prepares various reports to assist in post event analysis and compiles monthly forecast and maintains budget.Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions, events and special offers throughout the property.Responsible for supervising and managing staff in Promotions Department: Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives in defined area.Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.Maintains exceptional knowledge of the Local Las Vegas market and participates in comprehensive competitor shopping program.Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.Enhances guest interactions by providing a friendly greeting, offering directions, answering questions, making announcements, and creating an upbeat and positive atmosphere.Responsible for ensuring adherence to all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job will have supervisory responsibilities.Responsible for staff development and training programs.Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).
