Summary

Promotions Team Members are dedicated to serving the guests of Rolling Hills Casino.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following:

•Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays to specific job role.

•Thorough working knowledge of the casino's procedures and guidelines are required.

•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

•Be able to answer clearly and understand all guest questions; have expert knowledge of the facility including all promotions, offers and events and be able to accurately communicate this information to the guests.

•Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

•Assists guests in locating proper seat and section in the venue.

•Provides high quality customer service and hospitality in the execution of tasks and responsibilities.

•Provides specific and general departmental information regarding the casino and casino's promotions to casino guests.

•Serves as back-up for creating promotional offers in system when the Database Manager is not available.

•Develops and maintains information on current promotions or special events to promote and carry out promotions and events.

•Organizes and participates in casino promotions, events, tournaments, and concerts to ensure excellent customer service.

•Issues/Redeems appropriate promotional prizes, items, vouchers, and free play to casino guests.

•Performs variety of clerical duties and projects.

•Help maintain promotional information for kiosks.

•Straightens and organizes inventory.

•Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•Minimum 21 years of age.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be at least 21 years of age and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and customer service skills. Must show the ability to work under team management approach. Must be willing to work any shift and weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Must have basic computer aptitude and excellent customer service skills.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and external customers.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission. Valid California driver's license.
