We are currently looking for a Full Time Promotions Associate to join our Promotions team located at the Newcastle Casino.

Summary:
Greet and assists patrons in the purchasing of items available for sale, accepting cash and change. The clerk is responsible for providing highest level of customer service and providing the winning experience.

Responsibilities:
* Advertises promotions to facility patrons ensuring an aura for excitement in the facility utilizing handouts, microphone, and sound and light systems as needed
* Promotes the Players Club card by informing patrons of card benefits to increase play and satisfaction with facility offerings
* Develops promotional rules for submission using previous rules for similar promotions as a guide; uses creativity to make suggestions for new and exciting promotions; ensures rules are in accordance with the Chickasaw Nation Division of Commerce (CNDC) guidelines
* Utilizes Casino Management System to determine promotional targets based on previous effective promotions
* Determines patron eligibility by entering patron information in the Casino Management System. Actively utilizes appropriate systems (e.g., Bally's) to support and make recommendations
* Submits funds request for entire department within facilities assigned and communicates appropriately with general manager(s) and department manager(s) to ensure a timely manner of when promotional cash can be received
* Updates standard contract to include promotion specific information for submission to administration promotions department for final approval process for prizes
* Contacts vendors to guarantee products and prizes are ordered and delivered to any/all requested departments, but also ensuring that all gaming vendor promotions are within the CNDC guidelines
* Updates facility management and player analysis with current and accurate information in regard to the status of all promotions within their respective facilities
* Liaises between the Facility, Marketing and Share Services departments regarding promotional activity items in some facilities
* Organizes and cleans assigned area(s)
* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made

* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.

Essential:
* Basic Computer skills

* Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
* Must be able to operate a computer and/or other equipment related to specific role (i.e. automated currency counters, calculator, projector, binding machine, other related office equipment)
* Accurately type 25 words per minute
* Intermediate skill using Word for multiple purposes

Experience:
Essential:
* 1 year directly related experience

Education:
Essential:
* High School, GED or Equivalent

Nonessential:
* Bachelors Degree in directly related field

* Pass gaming background check
* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position
