Social Media Strategist

GIE Media, Inc., an innovative media company based in Valley View, Ohio serving recycling, manufacturing, ornamental, pest control technologies, horticulture and turf industries is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Social Media Specialist. Established in 1980, GIE Media, Inc. has a track record of growth, unique product development and market commitment. Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage social media paid advertising campaigns to drive newsletter/magazine subscriptions and increase event registrationsDrive high reach/high return for short term client sales campaigns, and be able to report on the deliverablesTo effectively execute the above primary job responsibilities, the candidate must:Have a well-rounded understanding of each social media platform and its advertising: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.Know how to create ad campaigns to a target audience and manage social advertising for each platformHave knowledge of social media design and brandingGive advice and direction on best practice for B2B publications in the realm of social mediaGive presentations and run meetings to help sales and marketing colleagues understand how certain social media efforts workBe able to work in a fast-paced environment with tasks that are ever-changing and evolvingWork with clients in a professional and timely manner to discuss options and offer recommendations (as needed) based on the clients goalsCan quickly understand industries that GIE Media, Inc. servesIndependently learn about the events that GIE Media, Inc. produces and attendsManage and understand BufferWork in departments across the company to implement social media strategyProvide sales with data and reports on KPIsRequirementsBachelors degree in marketing or a related fieldAbility to multi-task2-5 years of experience in social media branding (B2B experience is a plus)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to demonstrate initiative with little or no supervisionBenefits of working at GIE Media, Inc.:Empowered, team-oriented workplace with flexible schedule.Vacation, personal days, sick days and company holidays.Medical, dental and vision insurance; 401k; as well as additional benefits.We are looking to fill this position ASAP.
