Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teams from different departments to resolve project requirements and specifications.Participate in the new business pursuit process by designing and developing powder metal components and systems. Design and develop powdered metal components and systems for automotive applications.Conduct performance and durability testing to ensure products and process meet or exceed performance requirements. flawless product performance.Analyse and interpret test data to optimize design and manufacturing processes.Support manufacturing operations by providing technical guidance and resolving production issues.Work closely with suppliers to select materials and components that meet design requirements.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve product performance.Actively contribute to design reviews and collaborate on product improvements.Strictly adhere to quality standards and procedures throughout the product development lifecycle.Successfully implement engineering changes and improvements to enhance product functionality.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience in product engineering, preferably in powdered metal applicationsProficiency in CAD software for design and analysisKnowledge of manufacturing processes and working with suppliersStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse teams.
MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience in product engineering, preferably in powdered metal applications.Experience in CAD software for design and analysis.Mush have Siemens NX (Unigraphics) experience.Must have TeamCenter experience.
