Internship Summary:

The Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the marketing team and will learn about the basic functions of a Marketing department in this role. Responsibilities will include drafting social media posts, proofreading and editing copy for articles, collateral material and other marketing material, assisting with creation of videos, and providing administrative support to the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Intern will gain exposure to all aspects of the WebTPA business as the Marketing department supports all internal and external communications. This role will include hands-on learning and will include training as needed on marketing support platforms such as WorkZone project software, Brainshark video/presentations, and HubSpot for social media posting.

The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.

Assist with review and proofreading of copy for social media posts and other marketing collateralAssist in creation of written, video and image content for marketing channelsCapture culture photos and videos to support content creationThink creatively and pitch ideas to fuel content platformsAssist with sales materials including presentation developmentHelp updating of key staff bios and creating Meet the Team piecesAssist with administrative duties for marketing team as neededLearn about marketing support tools such as HubSpot, WorkZone, Brainshark etcAssist with internal support for the new WebTPA intranetParticipate in marketing brainstorming sessions and other team projects as neededQualifications:

0-1 years related work experience.Must be a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a college degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.High school diploma or GEDMust have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and consider timely responsiveness a top priority.Strong organizational skillsExcellent time management skillsQuick learner who can thrive in a fast-paced environmentHighly effective at multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong background with Microsoft suite including PowerPoint and WordProject management skillsExperience preferred in working with marketing tools and apps - such as event apps, content management systems, email automation software. Knowledge of/familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

General Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
