Summary This position is located at the Fort Leonard Wood NAF Marketing Division. Responsibilities Performs marketing functional services under the general supervision of the Marketing Manager for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs. Creates demand for advertising products. Achieves sales revenue goals. Conducts Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising. Keeps track of viable annual events for which to seek commercial sponsorship. Packages events, develops solicitation packets and solicits sponsorship from local sponsors. Negotiates mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and executes all supporting documents. Attends events and serves as point of contact for sponsors at events. Compiles and provides After Action Reports. Sells multimedia array of projects. Prospects for new clients, cold calling, develops advertiser target list. Manages accounts, writes/delivers proposals, recommends advertising campaigns, obtains client art and creative materials. Develops business partnerships. Achieves sales revenue goals, cooperates with a sales team and other departments, takes leadership role managing special projects, participates in meetings. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated work experience in developing advertising programs and selling commercial advertising. Knowledge of Commercial Sponsorship & Advertising Practices. Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotion using tools of the trade and social media. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to establish a professional rapport with activity managers and sponsor representative of varying management levels. **Information provided on your resume should be clear and specific. Assumptions will not be made regarding your experience and the duties performed.** HIGHLY PREFERRED: Public speaking experience. One (1) year experience with commercial marketing and/or an advertising agency. One (1) year of sales experience. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
