Reports To: Senior DesignerPosition Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry, working closely with our Design Team. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including sketching, approving embroidery stitch-outs, preparing presentation rooms, assisting with photoshoots, and more. It requires a strong passion for design, excellent sketching skills, organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Position Responsibilities-Essential

Sketching and Design:

Create detailed sketches and illustrations of apparel designs.

Assist in developing design concepts and prototypes.

Collaborate with the design team to ensure sketches align with brand aesthetics and project goals.

Embroidery and Stitch-Out Approval:

Review and approve embroidery stitch-outs to ensure they meet design specifications.

Communicate with embroidery vendors to address any issues or adjustments needed.

Record and follow up all steps as per set process

Presentation Preparation:

Prepare presentation rooms by dressing mannequins and arranging garments.

Ensure all presentation materials are organized and displayed professionally.

Photoshoot Assistance:

Assist in the preparation and execution of photoshoots.

Pack and organize accessories and garments for shoots.

Steaming and ensuring garments are photo-ready.

Create and manage shot lists to ensure all required images are captured.

General Support:

Provide general support to the design team as needed.

Maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

Maintain PLM libraries by creating line lists, and loading photos

Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

Ability to self-manage/work independently.

Proficiency in computer skills: Adobe Illustrator, Outlook, Excel, Word

A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.

Proficient in sketching and illustration, both by hand and digitally.

Basic understanding of garment construction and embroidery techniques.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to prioritize activities and multi-task within a fast-paced office environment.

Proactive on problem solving and resolution oriented.
