What you’ll do
The Product Designer reports to the Director of Product Design and collaborates with other agile, cross-functional teams to craft consistent and successful end-user experiences.
In this role, you will create consistent and data-based solutions using industry best practices in conjunction with the Product, Data Science, and Technology departments.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions, identify improvements, and continue to scale the platformPresent proposed solutions internally and to clients to gather feedback and approvalMaintain design consistency and coherence across the iSeatz platformWork strives for WCAG 2.1 AA standardsCollaboration with internal and external teams:
Collaborate with product managers to review stories and functional requirements for new features and initiativesWork in an agile environment partnering with product teams and frontend architects and developers to implement designsEagerness to travel to engage regularly with teams in a co-located space, approximately once per quarterWhat you bring to the table
Embodiment of the iSeatz core values of Accountability, Disciplined, and ImpactfulAt least four years of proven work experience in Product Design design across web and mobile applications, preferably with three or more focused on design systemsBachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceExperience working within and building upon design systemsSkilled in designing mockups and creating prototypes using industry-standard design tools like Figma, Sketch, or comparable programsMust present a portfolio of industry examples illustrating step-by-step solutions to project requirementsExperience driving design decisions for e-commerce solutionsExperience working iteratively in cross-functional, agile environments alongside a geographically diverse teamBonus points
Ability to readily admit to mistakes and quickly learn from them to make the product betterAbility to solve problems quickly by identifying root causesSelf-motivated, eager to seek out problems and establish long-term solutionsUnderstanding that user experience is key above all else, and is best served by partnering with othersExcitement about making an impact by accomplishing smart work and reducing complexity
Location
This role is remote-first and can be located anywhere inside the continental United States. iSeatz is a New Orleans-based company with Central Time Zone business hours, but feel free to work from your home office, from the beach, or from the cottage you rented for the summer!
