Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented University Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is heavily focused on copy editing, content creation, and ensuring the highest standards of written communication. The ideal candidate should have a passion for marketing, social media, and digital communication, with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of the English language.
Responsibilities:
Copy Editing & Proofreading:
Review and edit marketing materials, website content, emails, and social media posts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the brand voice.Draft and Review Corporate Biographies:
To enhance the brand presence of our consultants across their client base.Content Creation:
Assist in creating compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, newsletters, and other marketing collateral.Website Updates:
Assist with website content updates and maintenance using platforms such as WordPress and HubSpot.Market Research:
Conduct market research to support campaign development and provide insights for content strategy.Project Assistance:
Support special projects and campaigns, including preparing materials and tracking key performance metrics.Collaboration:
Work closely with the Marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas for promoting our brand.Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a university program, majoring in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.Strong attention to detail and exceptional copy-editing skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems like WordPress and HubSpot is a plus but will also be introduced.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Creative mindset with the ability to propose and implement new ideas.Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and tools.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a marketing or communications role.Learning Outcomes:

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current payrate for this internship is: $34/hr.
