Purpose of Role

Manages the Finance of America social media community through social listening, responding to and engaging with the community, creating posts, relaying community feedback to internal teams, and keeping a pulse on trends. Implements social media strategies to align with broader marketing strategies. Understands the interests and needs of the online community; cultivates a two-way dialogue, and engages with the community while ensuring that it remains a positive and informative space. Responds to consumer comments and customer queries in a timely manner (and consistent with compliance guidelines). Monitors, reports on, and optimizes social media engagement across platforms.

Expectations:Implements social media engagement strategies in concert with the broader team (as well as agency partners).Coordinates with brand, PR, comms, and broader marketing team to ensure brand consistencyModerates discussion and responds to comments/inquiries across social channelsWorks in tandem with the Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all communication is consistent with current compliance guidelinesMeets regularly with Sales & Product teams to stay up to date on products and customer feedback.Analyzes data to understand and improve community engagementMonitors and reports on feedback and online reviewsStays up to date with social media (and broader digital technology) trendsPerforms other duties as assigned.Reports To:

Qualifications

Education - Required

Bachelor's DegreeEducation - Field(s)/Profession(s):

Marketing, Advertising, or other related field.Experience/Skills/Competencies:

Minimum of four years of experience as a social media community managerRecent Social Media Content Marketing (SMCM) experience in financial services/lending.Hands-on experience with social media management for brands and launching community initiatives.Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics.Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channelsAttention to detail and ability to multitask.Strong ability to problem-solve effectively and efficiently.Ability to empathize with others, understanding the needs, concerns and emotions of the community.Excellent verbal communication skillsExcellent writing skillsAbility to work in a team atmosphere as well as independently, set priorities, and manage colleagues.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is ($70,000 - $85,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
