Overview
The Assistant Manager of Women's Design is responsible for developing product from approved design to prototype.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing the process of taking approved designs through design development to show samples and turnover to Product Development/ EngineeringEnsures all projects meet criteria outlined by VP of Design - aesthetics, pricing, timelinesCommunicate all design related needs of Women's Design to cross- functional partners to ensure product flow and integrity is of design is achievedEfficiently communicates design intent to CAD, DY Shop, & Production DevelopmentSupport PD/PE with all design related communication needed for sample developmentResponsible for communicating all pertinent design info to various departments that impacts manufacturing and pricingSupports team initiatives, such as inventory management, vendor samples, and creationsMaintain accurate line plan in PLM and manage product information in the systemSupport Design Team in keeping an organized workspace physically and systematically, including inventory management
QualificationsDesign Degree preferred, coupled with minimum of 2+ years of experience in Women's Jewelry Design and/or Product DevelopmentGreat time management skills and ability to multi-taskStrong sense of fashion with high taste levelTechnical knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and materialsComputer: Word and Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, Illustrator. Other design software is a plus.

Estimate Salary Range:
$70,000-$80,000
Base pay is one component of David Yurman's total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
