PURPOSE OF THE JOB

A Communications Specialist ll plays a critical role in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance Ebara Elliott Energy's (EEE) reputation and effectively convey our mission, vision, and values to internal and external stakeholders. This role is responsible for creating high-quality content and ensuring consistent messaging and branding in our global market.

Other responsibilities can include:Advising and assisting the business units with marketing communications programs and materials;Reviewing all EEE communications and signage for adherence to corporate standards: use of EEE identity elements such as the logo, registered trademarks, corporate colors, typefaces, etc.Assisting the global sales teams on an ad hoc basis with projects, presentations and content preparation.

BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (preferably in English, Journalism, or Marketing).4+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing or a communications agency (advertising, public relations) are required.Proven professional writing experience in a business environment, preferably in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment, is essential.Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Strong media relations experience and a network of industry contacts is preferred.Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including content management systems.Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret communication metrics.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIESLead employee communications efforts, including the development of new internal newsletters and engagement campaigns. Work with various EEE leaders to write and edit significant internal and external communication pieces; edit and condense executive presentations for internal use.Generate and solicit ideas for internal news articles and photographs from throughout EEE. Draft, fact check and edit articles and regular features for a monthly newsletter. Proof layout. Oversee publishing and distribution.Schedule and manage logistics for quarterly employee communication meetings.Coordinate internal messaging with global counterparts.Write news releases on significant new orders, new management hires and other product and organizational developments. Distribute the releases and follow-up with the media. Respond to media inquiries and cultivate relationships with journalists and industry influencers.Support Human Resources and Sales through the design and development of literature (brochures & flyers): Meet with key subject matter experts to identify their needs for communications. Design materials. Draft copy. Work with the third-party graphic designer and Communications Manager to develop layouts. Edit and finalize copy; oversee online publication.Regularly update web site home page with recent Elliott news. Draft and edit new content for various Elliott departments.Participate in developing and implementing effective and consistent strategic communication plans.Manage crisis communication strategies and responses as needed.Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance communication efforts.
