Job Description
Responsibilities will include the establishment of CAD files in support of renovation/new projects including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and security infrastructure designs for multiple Federal Clients. Responsibilities include, developing installation drawings, oversee project documentation, develop and maintain drafting standards, incorporate and back-check red-line drawings, equipment and engineering change databases.
Work directly with engineering teams and take direction to generate two-dimensional drawings using Microstation and AutoCAD 2015 or later software. Create original drawings from hand sketches and design specifications from concept to completion. The selected candidate will draft layout designs per direction of an engineer/designer.
* Experienced in Microstation.* Experienced in developing floor plans, elevations, details, sections, and one-line diagrams using both Microstation and AutoCad.* Ability to produce drawing packages in very fast paced environment, with multiple deadlines.* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while keeping files and documents organized.
Job Requirements
* High School or GED with 5-7 years of relevant experience, Associates Degree a plus* Candidate must have, at minimum, 5+ years of experience working as a multi-disciplined drafter with experience in mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural.* Candidate must have current Microstation and AutoCAD 2015 or newer experience.* Revit experience a plus* Must be able to work in teams and independently and meet deadlines.* Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.* Proficient in MS Office 2010 or later* Proficient in Adobe Acrobat

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
