We are looking for an Audio Video (AV) Technician to join a growing team located in DAVENPORT, Iowa! The AV Technician will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting a variety of audio-visual equipment, ensuring the seamless execution of events, and maintaining a high level of customer service. This role does require 4 - 10 hour shifts Thursday - Sunday allowing you to have Monday - Wednesday off. Many awesome perks with this company!

Responsibilities:
- Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot a wide range of audio-visual, projection, lighting, telephone, and conferencing equipment, digital signage and television systems
- Collaborate with banquet and event team members to deliver requested technologies for events
- Monitor and respond to event requests for support, and resolve inquiries about events in a timely manner
- Administer and assist event services staff to deliver various formats of media including text, pictures, music, sound, videos/movies, recordings, animations, communications, connectivity, and more
- Ensure the availability of technology at appropriate intervals before, during, and after the event
- Use excellent interpersonal skills to maintain open communication with customers, understanding their needs and offering additional technologies when appropriate
- Implement security measures within the constraints of our highly regulated environment when delivering technology solutions
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring all cables and wiring are taped down and dressed appropriately
- Keep equipment in good working order, repairing and cleaning as needed, and keeping teammates informed of equipment status and availability
- Work under pressure, adapt to changing conditions, and continually develop knowledge and problem-solving techniques.
Requirements - Proficiency in Computer Hardware
- Experience with Cable Installation
- Knowledge in Audio Conferencing
- Familiarity with different types of Audio Equipment
- Skills in Audio Recording and Audio System management
- Understanding of Audio Video integration
- Ability to handle and manage Audio Visual equipment
- Familiarity with Digital Audio technologies
- Experience with Sound Board operations
- Knowledge in Digital Video production and management
- Proficiency in Video Conferencing
- Must have relevant experience in the Hospitality industry
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Must have a proactive and problem-solving attitude
- Ability to handle physical requirements of the job including lifting heavy equipment and setting up AV systems
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest AV technologies and trends
