Purpose:The Technical Writer is responsible for editing current documents and applying new brand, logo and fonts. This position will coordinate, prioritize and implement the brand, logo and font changes. This position will routinely collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), Trainers, Business Process Analysts and management in the development and production of necessary materials for for new brand, logo and fonts.
Responsibilities:• Leveraging the requirements for the change to our documents for logos, brands and fonts, apply changes to the document while adhering to brand guidelines.• Edit all in scope documents, with the new brand, logo and fonts.• Review updates with the appropriate business owner. Make additional changes as necessary.• Perform a quality review on documents for the changes made.
Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Education or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required• 2 years of work experience in technical or process specific documentation• Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Snagit, and Teams• Experience with applying Word templates and styles• Ability to modify documents while adhering to brand guidelines• Strong writing and editing skills• Strong process and detail orientation• Strong organization and prioritization skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications• Healthcare experience• Experience with a web-based workflow management system (i.e., Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA)
