We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic individual to join our team to warmly welcome patrons into the library and work to ensure a great library experience. You can expect to regularly assist with answering questions about library services, patron accounts and offer reader's advisory or suggestions.

Warmly welcomes patrons into the library and works to ensure a great library experience Enthusiastically staffs one of the service desks (reference, youth, or circulation) Assists patrons to navigate library and community resources Stays informed of library services, procedures, and events Promotes library programs, collections and services to patrons Assists patrons with basic computer needs, including e-mail accounts, Microsoft Office software, and using the Internet Registers new library users, renews expired cards and issues replacement cards Takes pride in our library, ensuring that it is clean and tidy and displays are looking beautiful

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree is preferred. One to two years of customer service experience is also preferred.
