The Opportunity:
We are looking for a full-time temporary Social Media Video Producer for 3-6 months with a creative soul and passion for storytelling. They are able to connect with audiences on our social and digital platforms by creating original photo and video content for our digital marketing team. They are able to work both individually and with a team to produce, shoot, and edit content that is optimized for our various social and digital platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This person is as passionate about storytelling as they are hungry to deliver content that reflects current trends while establishing a unique brand voice that is engaging to audiences.
What you will do at VeSync:Create captivating photos and short-form video content for audiences on social and digital platformsLead and direct the pre-production steps for assigned projects with the team to ensure cohesive and effective productionsInitiate original concepts for social content in collaboration with the brand and digital marketing teamsProduce, storyboard, shoot, and edit original content both individually and by leveraging internal and external resourcesGenerate scripts, shot lists, and gear lists as needed and coordinate meetings to communicate creative direction to relevant teams involvedUtilize both the internal studio and location scouting to provide an appropriate setting for photo and video content, providing practical and cost-effective solutionsTransport, set up, and operate studio equipment including, but not limited to: cameras, microphones, lighting, cables, etc.Manage on-set crew during shoots as neededOptimize photo and video content by size, style, and content to fit the unique needs of different social media and digital advertising platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google AdsWork with the digital marketing team in tracking the performance of social and digital content produced by Creative Services
What you bring to the role:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum 3 years' experience as a video producer and/or editor in social mediaA natural-born storyteller with a passion for creativityA high-quality portfolio with examples of both photo and video social media contentProven experience shooting content via mobile phones and professional production equipment and editing social content on social media platforms (Instagram Reels and TikTok)General knowledge of social media trends and best practicesDemonstrated project and time management skills to multitask and prioritize creative assets, delivering under short deadlinesExcellent knowledge of professional video cameras, photography equipment, lighting equipment, and editing softwareAdvanced knowledge of both photo and video editing software (Adobe CC preferred)Experience in motion graphics preferred (Adobe AfterEffects)Strong ability to apply advanced principles of photography in studio and location shootsExperience producing and shooting both individually and in coordination with a teamAble to work in a diverse, collaborative environment with openness to feedbackProficient with both Mac and PC operating systems
