Job Summary

As Multimedia Producer, you will oversee the creation and implementation of multimedia content across various platforms, ensuring high-quality productions that align with the GuideStone's goals and standards. This role combines creative leadership with technical expertise to manage a team of both in-house and contract multimedia professionals and deliver compelling visual experiences to our audience for a wide range of multimedia productions - including marketing videos, educational videos, podcasts, live interviews, webinars, live events, photography, audio and social media. This individual should also be a leader with a desire to create an inspired, high-performing and engaged team.

What You'll Do

Project Management:Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multimedia projects from inception to completion.Act as an on-site producer during film shoots, podcasts and webinars.Handle comprehensive off-site projects, including scheduling, communication, travel arrangements, accommodations, venue logistics, and talent release management for video projects when needed.Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.Establish timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines and budget.Prepare and maintain annual budget.Oversee stock video library and licenses.

Creative Strategy Development:Conceptualize and develop creative multimedia production strategies that align with the project's objectives and goals.Oversee the creation of engaging and impactful videos, animations, graphics and other multimedia assets.Review and ensure deliverables meet brand guidelines, production standards and resonates with target audiences.Utilize data, research and creative insights to formulate effective creative strategy.Select stock footage and audio clips when needed.

Team Leadership:Supervise a team of multimedia specialists - including full-time, contract and agency team members.Provide guidance, mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to encourage creativity and efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication:Establish and cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams (e.g., marketing strategists, stakeholders, creative) to understand project requirements and objectives.Collaborate with external vendors, agencies and freelancers as needed.Communicate project progress, challenges and successes to stakeholders and leadership.

Technical Proficiency:Possess a strong understanding of multimedia production tools, software and equipment including but not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud, professional video/photography lighting, cinema cameras and lenses, audio recording/mixing and still photography.Proficiency in video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, Motion graphic design tools Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator, Audio editing software Adobe Audition. 3D animation software a plus.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to ensure seamless production workflows.Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or new solutions as appropriate.

Quality Control:Review and approve multimedia content to ensure accuracy, consistency quality and relevance.Conduct quality assessments and implement improvements based on feedback and analytics.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in multimedia production.

Supervisory Responsibilities and/or RelationshipsResponsible for full scope of supervision including reviewing performance of assigned staff.Select, manage and coordinate cross-functional teams of agency, freelance, contract and internal talent (models, lighting, audio and camera crew members, etc.) to accomplish large-scale multimedia and video projects as needed.

What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Film Studies, Communications, or related field.Proven experience (7+ years) in multimedia production, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Industry experience in financial services or insurance is preferred.Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), and multimedia content management systems.Extensive experience in managing video productions, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring seamless execution at every stage.Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, showing an ability to influence without ownership, gaining support and trust across the organization to achieve agreed-upon business outcomesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Travel for photo/video shoots up to 10%.Proficient skills in MS Office and appropriate GuideStone system applications.Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
