Job Overview:

Vizmeg Landscape is seeking a talented Landscape Designer to join our team. The Landscape Designer will play a crucial role in creating captivating landscape designs that align with our clients' visions and meet our high-quality standards. As a Landscape Designer, you will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and our construction team to bring outdoor projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients and the Design/Sales Project Manager to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Translate client requirements into creative and functional landscape designs.Site Analysis: Conduct comprehensive site assessments, including locating existing elements such as residence, walls, walkways, driveways, etc... Clearly define property lines, setbacks and utilities, etc...Conceptual Design: Develop initial design concepts and sketches to present to clients. Incorporate elements such as hardscapes, plantings, lighting, and irrigation systems.3D Modeling and Renderings: Utilize design software to create 3D models and realistic renderings of proposed landscape designs, helping clients visualize the end result.Plant Selection: Choose appropriate plant species, taking into account local climate conditions, maintenance requirements, and aesthetic preferences.

Qualifications:2 - 5 years of experience in landscape designProficiency in landscape design software (e.g., VectorWorks, AutoCAD)Strong plant knowledge and familiarity with local plant speciesAbility to translate comments, redlines, and sketches into working drawings/documentsSkillful with presentations utilizing Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, and hand renderingSkillful with construction drawings including construction detailing, dimensioned layouts and grading plansAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA portfolio showcasing previous landscape design projects (preferred)Degree in Landscape, Architecture, Design or equivalent experience (preferred)
