A Brief Overview

The Instructional Designer is responsible for implementing engaging and impactful training programs. This includes identifying, assembling, designing and developing core content through eLearning and instructor led training, with a primary focus on creating internal content that aligns to Safelite's strategic framework and competencies.

What you will doResearches, designs, and develops learning programs and supporting materials in response to identified training needs and in alignment with organizational goals and objectivesSelects course content, learning activities, training tools, and delivery mechanisms in alignment with strategic organizational learning roadmapManage end-to-end learning projects, including defining scope, resources, and key milestones. Oversees development of content or programs by vendors and/or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in support of an assigned deliverable.Markets training programs and sustains transfer of learning through communications such as company intranet, emails, memos, videos, and digital signage to communicate and announce training programs and initiatives.Provides oversight of training analytics. Evaluates training programs for effectiveness and desired outcomes. Utilizes feedback to initiate changes, refinements, and improvements.Facilitates train-the-trainer sessions and online meetings.

What you will needBachelor's Degree - preferred or equivalent experience1-3 years Relevant experience RequiredStrong communication skillsStrong ability to plan and prioritize project workflowStrong time management skillsDemonstrate knowledge of adult learning principles and concepts, instructional design theory, and measurement and evaluation methods to supportWork and collaborate effectively within your team and leadershipAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProficient in graphic design software such as Photoshop and InDesignProficient in Articulate Storyline or other eLearning authoring tools preferredExperience with developing virtual instructor-led training is preferred.Experience with HR, Store Operations & Supply Chain training, content developmentExperience with developing Talent Development program contentComply with hiring requirements and drug screens per company policy.
