Description
The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department for the Town of Garner is seeking an experienced, energetic, Art Instructor for the new homeschool program.Examples of Duties
Teach art classes to young children with the possibility of teaching teens and adults depending on availability. Ability to plan one-hour art classes. Be patient, safety-conscious, professional, reliable, and friendly!
Minimum Qualifications
All applicants must have previous experience teaching a variety of art classes; preferably those for children.Must be available to fill in as necessary for other art classes that may be created.Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain CPR certification within 6 months of hire is required.Must be available to lead classes Wednesdays from 9am- 11am.
Part-time positions requiring less than 1000 hours per year and Temporary or Seasonal positions are eligible for free membership to the Local Government Federal Credit Union and other benefits required by law. All employees are eligible to participate in the North Carolina 457b supplemental retirement plan.
