The Royal Caribbean Group's Royal Caribbean Group brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Account Executive, Tactical Email Marketing on the Marketing team reporting to the Loyalty department.

This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary:

The Tactical Email Marketing Account Executive oversees all day-to-day email development, production, accuracy, and performance of the Tactical Email program. This role partners with Product Marketing, Revenue Management, Integrated Retail Marketing and Creative teams to develop and deploy strategized, engaging, on-brand and revenue driving promotional emails to increase direct bookings in segmented target audiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop the tactical email track on the overall North America Marketing email calendar in consideration of all Marketing KPIs: retaining prospects and loyal guests, driving incremental open rates, click through rate, conversion rates and direct bookings and revenue.Propose target audiences to the Customer Marketing Manager for all promotional email campaigns based on the offer components and products/seasons in focus, identified by Revenue Management and Integrated Retail Marketing teams.Manage end-to-end execution of tactical emails including but not limited to: developing creative briefs, working with the web team and creative team to develop landing pages and assets to support the story, ensuring accuracy of recipient lists, and working with the external agency to ensure email campaigns are coded and with quality assurance completed.Build & deploy emails from Salesforce Email Studio (Exact Target). This role will schedule promotional emails by cross referencing the email calendar to ensure correct HTML has been selected, time of deployment, IP, counts, terms and conditions, countdown clock and campaign name are aligned with the calendar, for both customer emails and internal seed list.Partner with Customer Marketing Manager and internal teams to develop testing scenarios (such as A/B subject line testing, promotional email template testing, and components testing), with the intent to optimize email KPIs and spearhead continuous tactical email program enhancement.Partner with Customer Marketing Manager and cross-department teams to analyze campaign performance and suggest email program improvements based on data and testing. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable of common statistical analysis and techniques, email best practices, technologies, and trends.Document email production processes with internal partners and external vendors to ensure streamlined and efficient promotional email campaign creative development, production, and deployment.Actively monitor competitive email communications and provide learnings to internal teams like Revenue Management, Integrated Retail Marketing, and internal creative teams.Nurture and foster relationships with:

Revenue Management team to understand promotional offer strategy and products of focusIntegrated Retail Marketing team to align on promotional calendar cadenceCreative team for asset development and original content creationProduct Marketing team to support new products and itinerariesWeb team to ensure holistic guest experience is accomplished

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:Past experience in CRM, direct to consumer email, user experience, and direct to consumer campaign and business analyticsExperience understanding cross-functional roles and opportunities: creatives, business analysts, quality assurance, traditional marketers, digital marketersExperience with campaign production tools such as Salesforce and JIRAMust be a critical thinker, with an understanding of marketing fundamentalsAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines; organized with an attention to detail and follow throughPassion for using data to drive decisions and ensure the best possible experience for customersStrong presentation skills; comfortable reporting out results to leadership groupsStrong project management skills and key computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsCollege degree in relevant field
