As a Social Media Specialist at Avelo, you'll play a crucial role in managing our social media channels and building awareness around the country. You'll work on developing and executing creative social media campaigns that highlight the Soul of Service at Avelo. In addition to campaign creation, your analytical skills will be key in helping us effectively measure the impact of social media for Avelo.

Responsibilities:Create engaging and exciting content for Avelo's social media platforms.Identify, establish, and manage strategic social media campaigns to support marketing initiatives and enhance brand value.Develop and implement social media plans that align with Avelo's overall marketing strategy.Monitor and respond to social media interactions, ensuring effective communication and engagement with our audience.Analyze and report on the performance of social media campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.Generate comprehensive reports on social media performance, highlighting key metrics and outcomes.Present findings and recommendations to leadership, showcasing the impact of social media efforts.Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.Develop and manage social media contests, giveaways, and promotions to drive engagement.Create multimedia content (e.g., videos, graphics) that aligns with our brand and resonates with our audience.

Requirements

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role.Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and content creation.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media analytics tools.Experience with social media scheduling and management tools.Avelo currently uses Sprout SocialPrior experience in the airline industry is a plus.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective social media marketing plans.Proficient in analyzing data and deriving insights to drive social media performance.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools. (Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, Sprout, etc.)Creative problem solver with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
