Job Summary:

The Enrollment Communication Specialist is responsible for all recruitment communication for the offices of Graduate and Undergraduate Admissions. Under the direction of the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing, the Enrollment Communication Specialist will develop and implement a strategic communication plan for each office, which includes email, print, text, and digital marketing. They will also serve as the enrollment liaison with the Director of Marketing.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for the creation and implementation of a comprehensive communication plan for both the Office of Graduate Admissions and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Works closely with Slate CRM Administrator to ensure all communications are integrated into the system and set up for automated drip campaigns.

Serves as the enrollment communication liaison to the Director of Marketing.

Creates and implements communications for recruitment events that will assist in increasing graduate and undergraduate enrollment.

Conducts analysis on communications and events to ensure optimal results.

Other duties as may be assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrated experience with student recruitment and a clear understanding of a coordinated enrollment effort is necessary.

Strong written and communication skills.

A deep understanding of industry best practices regarding enrollment communication.

Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the changing needs of the departments and institutional goals.

Ability to adhere to procedures and to explore opportunities for improvement.

Ability to manage multiple projects.

Ability to be results oriented.

General knowledge and promotion of the College’s mission, purpose, goals and the role of this position in achieving those goals.

Experience with CRM recruiting systems; experience with Slate preferred.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree required.

3-5 years’ experience in higher education admissions.
