JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for marketing and sales of the home care agency

QUALIFICATIONS

Baccalaureate degree preferred.

One (1) year experience of experience in sales/marketing required; experience in a health related field preferred.

Preferred established referral base.

Must have a criminal background check.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Analysis of Past and Current Marketing Data:

Analyzes the potential of the company's service area to determine target markets. Identifies available market share.

Makes cold calls to all potential healthcare settings that could use our services:

Hospitals, Assisted Livings, Long Term Care facilities, Outpatient clinics, private physician practices, Senior Centers and others.

Analyzes patient/company relationships. Analyzes advertising and sales promotion needs.

Develops sales/marketing objectives and sales projections.

Maintains a new referral quota ofunduplicated patients per month.

Marketing Plan:

Develops a marketing plan, identifying priorities and a reasonable timetable. Implements marketing plan staying within established timetable.

Reviews and evaluates the analyses and plan on an established basis. Other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TO BE OPERATED

Office equipment- phone, computer, printer, copy machine

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Indoors, performing computer/office duties- phone work

Travel to referrals/meetings; will require transportation to get to various sites

FUNCTIONAL ABILITIES

Able to hear, speak, understand and communicate effectively in English. Must be able to travel to prospective referral sources.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

On a daily basis: walking, standing, sitting, reaching, use of telephone, use of computers & other office equipment, climbing stairs.
