POSITION SUMMARY -
Position involving various duties that permit exposure to the student's field of study and/or provide experience that is a useful addition to the student's education and meaningful preparation for future professional employment. Responsible for assisting with daily functions of the department as assigned by the manager. WORK ENVIRONMENT-
Must be willing and able to work in an office and occasional exposure to elements that can include but are not limited to dust, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Learn internal operations related to field of internshipProvide general assistance and support within departmentReport progress throughout length of internship and set goals to gauge successApply current education to identify areas for improvement and possible solutionsResearch areas of opportunities the grow Dee Zee's brand visibility in existing or new marketsFamiliar with social media platforms to create engaging posts and analyze the CTR, engagement, conversions, etc. (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedInGain an understanding of market for reporting and analyticsIndependently manage workload of project(s) assignedUphold Dee Zee's brand standards and follow corporate guidelines for both internal and external communicationsSupport the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findingsSKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to take direction from immediate supervisorAbility to adapt to work environment and perform versatile tasksAbility to work with minimal supervision and utilize various resources for problem solvingWillingness to make suggestions from a different viewpointEnthusiastic about the latest marketing trends and how to get our message to consumersDetermination to meet deadlines and quality guidelinesCreative writing for marketing contentMaintain confidentiality when applicablePOSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Pursuing a degree in related field or recently graduatedExperience:
No experience necessary; general knowledge of the field preferred
Computer Skills:
Must demonstrate computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs is an advantage. Personal or professional experience with posting content to social media channels is desired.
