3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on design systems and UXBachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experienceHave experience applying Accessibility best practices (WCAG)Demonstrated expertise in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variables, and other library featuresThe position requires demonstrable expertise in building, maintaining, and innovating for a global, multi-channel design systemYour attention to detail is renowned, your design skills impeccable, and you love putting structure around difficult problemsResponsibilitiesThe existing Product Design System (Cobalt) is introducing a rebranded themed library for our future vision of our new brand implementation. Our existing Figma library, including components and variables, needs to be updated to reference the new theme variables (tokens). Components may require restructuring or consolidation to best support the use of variables and UX designer user efficiency.Work as part of the Product Design System team and the brand teamUpdate and refactor existing Figma components to the new standards and foundationsDevelop reusable components like buttons, forms, and other UI elements that align with the brand guidelinesYou look for opportunities to improve the way things workReview and test new components to ensure seamless integration and functionalityWork independently as well as collaboratively with the teamIdeal / Nice to Have
