ESC has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Visual Designer
working
hybrid
in
New York City
to support our premier client's Fashion Design and Research team. The ideal candidate will be a systems-oriented design thinker that is proficient in Figma. This is a
6-month
contract role
that offers insight into the fashion design industry and excellent exposure working in a space where contemporary fashion and cutting-edge technology meet.
Responsibilities:
Conceive, plan, and execute new shopping experiences for Fashion that eliminate customers' biggest barriers to purchasing clothing and shoes online.Work at the intersection of customer data, computer vision and machine learning models, leveraging deep personalization to design elegant solutions to customer needs in the fashion space.Develop and socialize experiences that drive engagement and excitement throughout the organization.Required Skills:
8+ years of UX or interaction design experience, with 3+ years being in a lead product design, or equivalent roleProficient in FigmaAvailable online portfolio for reviewKnowledge of usability principles and techniquesKnowledge of best practices for information architecture and designExperience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative SuiteExperience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standardsExperience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps
