Our global technology client's Advanced Capabilities & Effects team has a mission to make it fun and easy to be creative. As part of its charter, ACE delivers camera effects that give people the inspiration, confidence, and entertainment they need to feel comfortable creating. Our client's team needs a technical artist or creative technologist who can drive the ideation, creative direction, and implementation of compelling camera effects in our proprietary platform software. This requires a unique skillset of both technical acumen and creative sensibility.What You Will Be Doing
-Ideate, design, and develop AR/GLSL shaders/effects and 3D assets from start to finish with guidance from Art Directors.-Work with UX to refine with a goal towards shipping, and collaborate with eng for technical requirements and porting.-Work with our creative effect authoring tool to provide feedback on what is/is not working.What You Need for this Position
-4+ years of relevant work experience as a technical artist.-3+ years experience authoring GLSL shaders.-3+ years experience with 3D modeling (gltf pipelines / generating technical assets).-3+ years experience in one or more of the following software programs: Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya.-2+ years experience with javascript.-2+ years experience with webGL.-2+ year experience basic modeling, rigging, animation, and texture and lighting skills (with strong expertise in at least one area).-Strong attention to detail and excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.-Portfolio with relevant examples of technical and artistic skills.-Published AR/camera effects or filters on a public platform.-Experience with typescript.-Experience with three.js or other web-based 3D frameworks.-Be up to date with contemporary social media trends/culture.Benefits
