Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Marketing Assistant based in Piedmont, South Carolina. This position is within the Non-Profit industry and primarily involves assisting in coordinating and marketing blood drive events, liaising with business partners, and managing key accounts.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the organization and scheduling of blood drives.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional materials for blood drives.

- Act as a liaison with blood drive coordinators at partnering businesses.

- Handle key account management and maintenance tasks.

- Demonstrate effective use of email marketing and direct marketing campaigns.

- Provide flexible availability, including 1st/2nd shift work and weekend availability.

- Exhibit strong skills in coordinating events and event handling.

- Ensure follow-up interviews are conducted with candidates through virtual platforms.

- Administer the processing and accurate maintenance of customer applications and records.

- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary. Requirements - Familiarity with email marketing strategies and platforms

- Experience with direct marketing campaigns, including planning and execution

- Proficiency in account management, including maintenance and key account management

- Strong organizational skills, with a focus on scheduling and coordinating events

- Prior experience in event coordination and handling

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Knowledge of non-profit industry and commitment to its goals

- Proficiency in using marketing software and digital tools

- Strong analytical skills for effective marketing strategies

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
