We are seeking a skilled User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our clients dynamic team. This role primarily involves conducting usability testing to drive the development of user-centered digital solutions. While our primary focus is on usability testing, we are also open to leveraging early-stage and exploratory research to inform our design decisions. You will collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and a UX leader who values research-driven insights and will support you in advocating for actionable outcomes based on research findings.Hybrid work schedule - San Antonio, Texas 7821512 month contract - potential for extension/hire
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct online usability tests and employ various user research methods to gather insights and inform the design process for both desktop and mobile applications.Collaborate with product owners and engineers to ensure a thorough understanding of both customer and employee needs during the design and development of digital solutions.Work in a cross-functional, Agile/Scrum product development environment, fostering a highly collaborative approach to problem-solving and innovation.Present research findings effectively to team members and stakeholders, influencing design decisions and fostering a user-centered mindset.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.Proven experience in conducting online usability tests and applying user research methods to influence design decisions.Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum product development environment.Strong portfolio or work samples showcasing your approach to user research and how you present your findings to your team. Candidates must be able to provide a portfolio.
