We are hiring an Interior Designer III to join our team and bring expertise and creativity to our healthcare projects. Interior Designer III Position Overview:As an Interior Designer III specializing in healthcare projects, you will be instrumental in leading the design process for a variety of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, and medical offices. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and project managers to deliver functional, aesthetic, and compliant healthcare environments that support patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:Lead the interior design efforts for healthcare projects from concept through completion.Develop and present innovative design concepts, space planning solutions, and material selections tailored to healthcare settings.Create detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, and 3D renderings, with a focus on compliance with healthcare standards and codes.Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to integrate interior design seamlessly with overall project requirements and systems.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of healthcare projects.Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to specify and procure materials and furnishings suitable for healthcare environments.Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development within the healthcare design team. Experience and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in interior design, with 3-5 years focused on healthcare projects.Knowledge of healthcare design principles, building codes, ADA requirements, and FGI Guidelines for the Design and Construction of Healthcare Facilities.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.Proven track record of successfully working on healthcare projects from concept through completion.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.NCIDQ certification and/or CIDPassion for creating healing environments that enhance patient experiences and outcomes.
