We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Database Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating data cubes via SQL and building comprehensive Tableau dashboards based on business requirements. This role utilizes a candidate’s strong technical background and ability to work on ad-hoc projects as needed.What our Senior Business Analysts on our Database Marketing team enjoy:Creating, managing, and optimizing data cubes using SQL to support various business needs.Using their analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills to develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards in order to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translating them into technical specifications.Utilizing their ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.Performing ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as needed to support business initiatives.Working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in all reporting and analysis.Continuously seeking opportunities to improve data processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical methodologies.Working as part of a team while also being able to work independently.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork with business stakeholders analyze business operations and recommend solutions to align individual business functions with organizational goalsUnderstand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and recommend solutions to improve general business processes and planningCompile, analyze, interpret, and present complex data related to current and future operationCreate reports, charts, graphs and presentations to aid in proposing new strategies for successful business changesDevelop project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costsAnalyze external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysisMay make recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technologyPerform other duties as requestedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand English\Ability to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environmentAbility to handle multiple projects and prioritiesAbility to analyze and interpret dataAbility to quickly identify business problems/opportunitiesAbility to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward mannerAbility to communicate with all levels of management and company personnelAbility to manage multiple projects at one timeAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelySuperb knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, etc.Required EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired Related Work Experience and Number of YearsBusiness analysis or related experience - 5 Preferred Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.5 years of experience in SQL and Tableau.Strong technical skills and proficiency in creating complex SQL queries and data cubes.Extensive experience in building and designing Tableau dashboards.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in Database Marketing or a related field.Knowledge of other data visualization tools.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.Advanced degree or relevant certifications.WORKING CONDITIONSOffice environmentBGN349 2024-37949 2024Here, employees don’t just have jobs, they build careers.
