Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to assist with managing and growing our social media presence. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work closely with our marketing team and contribute to the development and execution of social media strategies.Key Responsibilities:Assist with creating, curating, and scheduling engaging content across various social media platforms.Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, comments, and messages, and engage with the online community.Help with the development and execution of social media campaigns and promotions.Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media tools and strategies.Support the creation of visual content, including graphics and videos, using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.Assist with managing social media advertising campaigns and budgets.Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement new social media strategies and initiatives.Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.Strong interest in social media and digital marketing with a solid understanding of various social media platforms and trends.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Canva)Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Previous internship or work experience in social media or digital marketing is a plus but not required.Benefits:Gain practical experience in social media management and digital marketing.Opportunity to work on real-world projects and contribute to the success of our marketing efforts.Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced marketing professionals.Develop skills and knowledge that are highly valued in the industry.Flexible working hours to accommodate academic commitments.EEO/AA Employer/Vets/Disabilitywww.martekglobal.comAbout Us:Since 1996, Martek Global Services has been a leader in integrated strategic and tactical solutions in real estate, healthcare, facilities, and professional services for federal government and commercial customers nationwide.
