USAInterview Process: 2x rounds virtual. 1-hour each.Interview Times: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 12-6pm PDT.Must HavesExperience in Architecture of Virtual Production pipelines with a focus on Motion Capture Systems.Experience with DCC (Digital Content Creation) packages - Maya preferredExperienced in Unreal Engine Visual Scripting (Blueprints)Well versed in working hand in hand with Artists and Designers to determine Tool and Workflow requirements.Experience with In-Editor tools and in-game UGC workflows and UX in a production EnvironmentProficient with any of the following languages: Python, C#, C++ (Python preferred)Understanding of Animation and Rigging terminology and workflows.PlussesExperience with MotionBuilder DCCExperience with the set-up, support and troubleshooting of Motion Capture SystemsExperience with Markerless Motion CaptureComing from a start-up environmentExperience with the full project production cycle of a Game. a Sr. Technical Artist

to join a large employer AAA Game Studio in LA. In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Development Director, you will work in collaboration with technical artists, engineers, and content creators on Virtual Production Workflow tools, workflows, and content generation.ResponsibilitiesAssist with day to day management of R&D motion capture volume. This includes hardware and software maintenance as well as development and productionYou will research and guide the exploration of potential solutions for Virtual Production as specified by the Virtual Production Product Manager and directly create proof-of-concept work in pre-production.You will work with Technical Artists, Tools Software Engineers & Rendering Software Engineers to convert prototype content generation solutions into production content generation workflows.You will stay current with and exhibit a high degree of technical knowledge about current state-of-the-industry Virtual Production tools and workflows.You will educate and articulate concepts relating to Virtual Production to the team and cross-functional partners through presentations; Audiences for which will include members of other disciplines & domains such as Art Direction, Engineering, Operations, Production, and other stakeholdersYou will communicate technical requirements for real-time game editor and game engine run-time virtual production systems, workflows, and tools to serve client product goals.Drive inclusion of new virtual production solutions, tools and workflows in tech roadmaps, including product tech art roadmaps, internal and external content team workflow roadmaps.Drive selection of off-the-shelf software and hardware solutions to support the content creation goals.Help set technical standards and production processes to guide the TA and SE team's work and ensure that their work achieves the content goals while also meeting performance standards.Build user stories and create time estimates for project planning.Compensation

:$50-70/HR

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
