Textile Designer (Fashion Apparel)
– What You Will DoYou will prepare textile designs (mostly for t-shirt and hats), working on the Textile Design team. You will:Create original textile graphic designs and artwork for fashion apparel for every retail season (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter), focusing on menswear and boysResearch and interpret emerging trends and best practices to create seasonal designs that follow brand aestheticPrepare Tech Pack and artwork packages and specifications for manufacturing productionCollaborate with design department to ensure quality control and accuracy of designsPrioritize multiple design projects while meeting tight deadlines
Textile Designer (Fashion Apparel)
– Required Skills, Experience & Personality FitYou are tech-savvy and live in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop)You have experience in designing graphics and artwork for textile apparel (creating graphics for t-shirts, sweatshirts, clothing, hats) and understand technical aspects of screen printing and apparel manufacturingYou are self-directed and driving your own career, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentCan provide an updated professional portfolio of your past work, including original designs, Tech Packs, and garment specificationsAbility to work hybrid, Monday through Thursday in office in Dallas, Texas
Textile Designer (Fashion Apparel)
– You Might Have:Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Costume Design, or related field of studyExperience as a textile designer for menswearExperience with eCommerce fashion merchandise
Compensation $65,000 to $69,000, depending on experience.You will be provided with company-sponsored medical, dental and vision insurance options, 401k with company contribution, paid holidays, paid time off, supplemental life and other supplemental insurances, and more (including a retail clothing discount and stipend!).This role is a hybrid role, Monday through Thursday in office with the team and Friday work from home.
