Senior Director Marketing, Injectable Product Launch , you will be an integral part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team on a mission to increase awareness, knowledge, relevancy, and usage of PrEP as part of preventative health for all who could benefit from it. You will help shape the go-to-market strategy and execution of our newest medication for PrEP—LEN as part of our larger PrEP portfolio strategy. Back-up for Executive Director as needed.Supports harmonization of Launch Plans/Strategy in the US and coordinates with GlobalEnsures key milestones are achievedActs as a strategic advisor, informing all key strategic decisions related to L4PSupports the development of end-to-end plans to support L4P at Day 1 as well as Campaign LaunchProvides leadership, support, and direct oversight of L4P HCP, DTC, Market Expansion, and Services team membersDrives L4P priorities and ensures integration with overall PrEP portfolio and market prioritiesGlobal Workstream Contributor and US Workstream Oversight regarding Access, Acquisition, Implementation workRecommends and Directs Product Acquisition and Implementation StrategyExecutes strategy in collaboration with Cross-Functional Stakeholders to ensure alignment and follow-throughGuides and provides input for select Field POAs, Messaging, & Materials (Nurse Educators, PS/CL Team, and/or Other Field Staff)Leads acute and systemic problem-solving with internal and external partnersDevelop and maintain relationships with key partners, including Global, Managed Markets, Medical, PrEP MarketingExpertly communicates insights and recommendations derived from complex analysis, using an array of frameworks, models, and methods based on the situationIdentifies and analyzes complex problems and situations where there may be little precedent, guides teams to make decisions and/or recommendationsChampions continuous improvement, new ideas, and initiatives that drive the business forwardEnsures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policiesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and Fourteen Years’ ExperienceORMasters' Degree and Twelve Years’ ExperienceORPhD and Twelve Years’ ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:10+ years of experience.A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields is preferred.Advanced experience with product lifecycle management is desirable.An advanced science degree, such as an MD, PharmD, PhD, or an advanced business degree, such as an MBA, is desirable.Extensive knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical product life cycle management in various therapeutic areas are preferred.Strategic thinker with an innovative mindset that can make decisive decisions, prioritize tradeoffs, and effectively communicate recommendations among a set of critical strategic choices.An entrepreneurial thinker who is confident working within a fast-paced and challenging environment.Adept at forming and maintaining a collaborative work environment within cross-functional teams.Expert understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and their impact on the development of marketing materials.Proven ability to work well as part of a team and in leading teams.Strong desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Five years in product marketing or advertising in the pharma/healthcare space is preferred.Expertise in prior roles with Advocacy, Community, and National Health systems and services is preferred.An MBA degree or equivalent is preferred.People Leader Accountabilities:Create Inclusion - knowing the business value of diverse teams, modeling inclusion, and embedding the value of diversity in the way they manage their teams.Develop Talent - understand the skills, experience, aspirations, and potential of their employees and coach them on current performance and future potential. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
